Good Lock is an app for customizing the Android lock screen in your own style. It was first released on March 15, 2015, and has been run by an independent developer for over 10 years.
Combine the wallpapers and widgets Good Lock provides - clock, calendar, schedule and music - to build a lock screen of your own. Shortcuts let you open apps, bookmarks, memos and contacts straight from the lock screen. Every feature is free, and no account sign-up is required. The lock screen and Mini Home carry no ads; ads appear only on the settings pages.
Good Lock runs on any Android device, regardless of manufacturer. It is a separate app from Samsung Electronics' Good Lock module suite, which shares the name but is Galaxy-only and launched a year later, in March 2016. See how the two differ →

No. Because it shares a name with Samsung's Good Lock, some people confuse the two, but they work differently. Samsung's Good Lock is a system-level tool that changes the whole Galaxy UI. This app only displays a screen over the lock screen; apart from the "Display over other apps" permission, it has no ability to change the system.

Does my existing lock security still work?
Yes, it stays exactly as it is. This app is a "lock screen cover" that lays over your existing lock screen. The fingerprint, PIN or pattern lock you set on your phone keeps working, and this app does not replace or change your phone's security system.
